United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP)

Agenda: Regulating the Management of Plastic Waste.

The United Nations Environment Programme is a programme of the United Nations that Coordinates environmental operations of the organisation and assists developing nations in applying policies and procedures that are environmentally beneficial. UNEP's efforts cover a broad variety of issues with respect to the atmospheric, marine and terrestrial ecosystem problems, environmental governance and green economy.

Siddharth Sai Pendyala (Co-Chair)
Siddharth is an enthusiastic MUNer, who has been attending MUN conferences from the 8th grade. He's been with Oakridge and JMUN from the 8th grade, and this is his 3rd year in JMUN, while being his first time as an Executive Board member. Aside from MUNs, he is passionate about computers and economics and loves to game. He spends his free time either gaming or listening to music.

Siddharth has been attending MUNs since the 6th grade and has collected many accolades from over four years of experience. Siddharth often enjoys engaging in debate and showing his perspective. Other than MUNs, Siddharth is an active programmer and does enjoy being creative in various mediums.

Ashriya Sinha (Moderator)
Ashriya is an impassioned MUNer who has been in Oakridge from 6th grade and attending MUN conferences since then. This is her first year as a bureau member. Ashriya enjoys public speaking and has taken part in many debates and other public speaking competitions. Besides this, she enjoys dancing, arts, and spends her free time listening to music or watching tv. Ashriya is very open-minded and loves to gain and share knowledge with others.
