Agenda: Developing Equitable Vaccine Distribution Methods.

The World Health Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations. With 194 member states, the WHO’s primary role is to direct and coordinate international health within the United Nations system and lead partners in global health responses. The COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on medical facilities across the globe and has put a spotlight on the role of the WHO on a global level.

Simran is an enthusiastic debater, who has had MUN experience for the past 6 years. She has 2 years of experience in the EB and is very excited to chair WHO. Other than MUNs, Simran is passionate about sports, sustainability, biology, and chemistry. She is looking forward to listening to all of the delegates and their thoughts in committee.

Rakshita has been a delegate in JMUN itself for the past 3 years and is very passionate about all things health-related. She is an avid reader, a big musicophile, and loves to write in her free time.

Kashvi Srinivasan (Moderator)
Kashvi is a devoted MUNer who has been a delegate of multiple MUNs. She’s been attending conferences since 6th grade and has been a delegate of 3 JMUNs. She has been a part of Oakridge since 4th grade and is passionate about biology, math and literature. Kashvi is a dedicated learner and spends a lot of her free time reading novels. She hopes to have a wonderful time at the conference and looks forward to hearing from all the delegates.
