Background Guide
Arryaa O.
(Co-Chair)
Arryaa is a vehement MUN conference attendee with 4 total MUN's under his belt. Having acquired
honors such as best and outstanding delegate in the JMUN, and the experience of participating in
an MUN, he's learned how to violently fight for speaking time amongst savagely good debaters. He
wants to use the opportunity of chairing a starter committee to spark a fiery passion for debate
within the young scholars that would join him in the World Health Organization. And he hopes to
do nothing more than guide them as they take control of committee, participating in constant discourse,
innovating solutions, understanding modern political structures, and of course eventually formulating
apresentable resolution.
Sidharth K.
(Co-Chair)
Sidharth has been attending MUNs for the past 4 years possessing experience in 3 JMUNs and 1 MUN.
In Sidharth's last MUN he has received a verbal mention in the UNSC council. While attending these
conferences, Sidharth has learnt the basic structure of an MUN, how to speak in formal settings,
and communicate his ideas effectively. Sidharth is interested in understanding the various perspectives
of the different countries and looks forward to a good debate. Sidharth hopes that this committee engages
in open-minded debate considering problems from all countries and nations about World Health Care. He's
excited to co-chair with Arryaa and have a good JMUN session overall!
Nidhi Vasishta
(Moderator)
Nidhi is an avid MUNer having taken part in 3 JMUNs previously. These MUN's have taught her how to engage
in complex debate, and have helped her see how much she enjoyed research, drafting resolutions, and making
speeches. She hopes to use this opportunity to help new delegates find their passion for JMUN as she
found hers. Nidhi is eager to work with the delegates and aims to help them through the conference making
speeches, finding solutions, and finally creating a resolution.
Ishaan Ashok
(Moderator)
This is Ishaan's first time participating in JMUN and he sees it as an excellent opportunity for him to
gain experience in a field that he's always been fascinated with. He has countless positive recollections
of previous conferences from his friends and listening to these only makes him more excited for this year!
This time, Ishaan resolved not to be the person who heard of what occurred in the JMUN, he wanted to take
part in the event. As of now, he has got the opportunity to be part of the Executive Board as a moderator
for the World Health Organization.
