United Nations Human Rights Council

Agenda: Protecting Children’s Rights to Elementary Education.


The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is an inter-governmental body of the UN. It is responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe and for addressing situations of human rights violations. The Council is made of 47 Member States, which are elected by the General Assembly, who discuss important human rights issues.

Delegates this year will be exploring the protection of children’s rights to elementary education.
