Letter from the Secretary General

Dear Delegates,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the first-ever online Bangalore Junior Model United Nations Conference at Oakridge International School on the 9th and 10th of October.

As your Secretary-General this year, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of the new delegates joining us this year, and a very special welcome to all of the delegates returning to the JMUN. My team and I have worked extremely hard over the past month to ensure that you have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable event. With the theme, "Advancing Human Rights during a Pandemic," we hope to inspire fruitful and detailed debate that will allow you to solve some of the world's biggets and most pressing problems. New or old, I hope that the 5th edition of the Bangalore JMUN will be an important milestone in your MUN journey. More information on the JMUN, rules of procedure, and MUN training material is available on the front page of the website and additional details can be found on the conference page. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries or concerns at bangalorejmun@oakridge.in. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Sincerely,
Aarush Mehrotra
